The Edmonton Police Commission is responsible for overseeing the actions of the Edmonton Police Service and monitoring the conduct of police officers. In addition, the Commission has an important oversight role in the public complaint process. Public complaints can be made directly to the Commission regarding a policy of the police service or the conduct of a police officer.
