Kitwana Jones
On July 21, 2009 a woman was robbed of her purse and laptop bag while walking to work. Dr. Cook saw a suspect fleeing with the women’s stolen bags. He attempted to stop him, but he got away. Mr. Jones heard screaming and gave chase to the suspect down an alley. Mr. Jones, a professional football player with the Edmonton Eskimos, tackled the suspect and forced him to the ground. The two citizens held the suspect until police arrived.
