On December 19, 2009 a police officer came upon a vehicle that had recently collided with a light standard and was stuck in a snow bank; the driver appeared heavily intoxicated. When the police officer attempted to arrest the driver, a physical altercation ensued. With Mr. Jedras’ help, the police officer was able to regain control of the intoxicated subject, de-escalate the situation and place the subject under arrest without further incident.
