Join us at the Edmonton Police Commission public meeting on Thursday, January 19, as a new member is welcomed to the board. Ms. Jackie Foord has over 25 years of management experience in the non-profit sector, the Alberta Legislature, and health care administration. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of YWCA Edmonton and recently served as the volunteer Chair of the City of Edmonton’s Women’s Advisory Voice of Edmonton. In 2014, Ms. Foord received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Edmonton Pride Festival Society.
Also at this meeting, members of the Edmonton Police Commission will elect the Chair and Vice-Chair for 2017, as per Commission policy. Ms. Cathy Palmer was the Chair in 2016 and Mr. John Lilley was the Vice-Chair.
